Our first Canadian Future Party MPs

We need your help today. And we need it more than ever.

It’s “game-on” in our final push to have our Canadian Future Party become a fully registered, federal political party.

And from there, to elect our first Members of Parliament. With your help today, we can make that happen.

Here’s where we are:

  • Our application to become an “Eligible Political Party” is awaiting approval from Elections Canada.

  • Once that happens, our next step is to run a candidate in the next federal by-election that is called. In doing so, we become a “Registered Political Party” and can then issue  receipts for donations made from that date onwards.

  • We will not get our Elections Canada approval in time to field a candidate in the March 4th by-election in Durham (Ontario). But, we need to start preparing today for by-elections that may be called any day now in Toronto-St. Paul’s and in the Montreal riding of La Salle- Émard-Verdun. At the very latest, both of these by-elections will be held before mid-September.

We need to get ready to elect our first Canadian Future Party MPs in both  by-elections. Our voice is needed more than ever.

It’s clear that the more than 70 per cent of Canadians who see themselves as centrists are open to hearing from a pragmatic, sensible party that speaks to the issues and concerns of mainstream Canadians. We are that party. With a tired, incompetent and free-spending Liberal government polling at rock bottom while the Conservatives turn their backs on Ukraine and engage in World Economic Forum conspiracy theories, our voice is needed more than ever.

Last week your Executive Committee prepared a by-election readiness plan. This will allow us to complete a candidate search effort for those two ridings, allow Interim Leader Dominic Cardy to raise our media profile and travel to the by-election battlegrounds. We’ll also need to invest in our IT and social media platform, help prepare for our policy convention, and ramp up our member outreach efforts from coast-to-coast.

Here’s where we need your help.  The first part of that plan calls for a fundraising push of $50,000 in the next 30 days.

Now, here’s some good news that can help us in that effort. Elections Canada has let our Executive Committee know that for now we are free to accept donations of any amount, from any individual or corporate entity. No contribution you make now, or have made previously, will count against your federal political donation total.  No tax receipts will be issued on donations before a by-election is called in which we plan to nominate a candidate.

So, will you help us with a donation of $10, $100, $1,000, $2,500 or $5,000? Please click here to help us elect our first Canadian Future Party MPs.

Let’s now step up and lean into the work we started last September. Canada is waiting for us. And the world is waiting for a better Canada.

Let’s get this done. We have 30 days to raise our first $50K. Can I count on you to click here help elect our first Members of Parliament?

Thank you for your continued support.
